§ 01 What it solves

A contractor doesn't lose money by quoting low: they lose it by never comparing what it cost against what they quoted. The estimate lives in a spreadsheet, the job runs on a phone, and the invoice gets written from memory at the end. QuoteStrat ties the three together: the quote is built from costed materials and labor, becomes a job without re-entering anything, and every material and hour charged to it comes straight out of the margin you promised.

§ 02 What it includes

  • Cost it before you quote it

Every line is built from its materials, its labor and its margin. The quote stops being a made-up number: it's a cost with profit on top, and you know what it is before you send it.

  • The quote becomes the job

Once accepted it turns into work with nothing re-entered. Lines become tasks, materials become things to buy, and the client is already attached.

  • Materials and hours against the estimate

Whatever gets charged to the job comes off what you quoted. If a job is eating the margin, you see it while you can still do something.

  • Schedule and crew

Appointments, assigned technicians and hours worked per person. Who went, when, and how long they stayed.

  • Invoices, payments and collections

From invoice to payment, with partial payments and agreed terms. Collections knows what's overdue and since when.

  • Signature on site

The client signs acceptance or delivery right on the screen, and it stays in the job's file.

  • Import your invoices

It reads the e-invoice file to log expenses and materials without typing them in.

  • Templates by trade

Jobs that repeat get saved as a template with their lines and materials, so the next quote takes minutes.

  • A team with permissions

Several organizations, email invitations and roles: who quotes, who executes and who sees the money.

§ 03 Who it's for

For whoever quotes and then does the work: contractors, workshops, installers, field services and crews working job by job.
